In year 1993 MCA course was started in KGM, Dehradun for girls. Since the day of its inception the department has been making multifold progress. The faculty members of the department have been actively participating and presenting research papers in the National/International seminars/workshops/conferences.
Some of the faculty members are being continuously invited by other institutions to deliver talks and support their academic programs. The Department has undergone phenomenal growth in the number of programs, student enrolment, quality of faculty and computational resources. Ten batches of software professionals have successfully completed their course and hold positions of importance in some of the most reputed organizations in the field of Computer Science in India and Abroad.
