Besides all conventional equipments/ apparatuses related to analytical and synthetic work in Chemical laboratories and a Library rich in textbooks, monographs, past volumes of journals and subscribing many research journals, the departmental laboratories are well equipped with following instrumental facilities in running conditions.
  Basic Facilities
 

pH meters, Conductometers, Flame photometers, Turbidimeters/ Nephelometers, Refractometers, Polarimeters, Electrophoresis, potentiometers, Column Chromatography, Paper Chromatography, Thin Layer Chromatography, interferometers, Colorimeters, single beam visible spectrophotometers, Calorimeters, B.O.D. incubators, Dissolved oxygen analyzers, Ultra-centrifuges, High precision thermostats, High precision Ovens, Water testing kits (different models of all of these), TDS analyzers, C & S analyzers etc.
  Advanced facilities

UV-VIS double beam spectrophotometers, PC based UV-VIS spectrophotometers, PC based FT-IR spectrophotometer, Gas chromatographs (including PC based model), Computational facilities and Internet facilities (A computer laboratory is to be developed within near future with assistance from DST, India), Cyclic voltammeter with recorder, Polarographs.
  Computational & Internet facilities
A computer laboratory with internet facility is being developed within near future with assistance from DST, India, under FIST Programme
