Microbiology : The P.G. classes were started in this subject,

being one of the
latest branches of the Biological Science in |

collaboration
with Deptt. Of Botany of GKV till1998. We feel pleasure |

in mentioning it
that our students
have been absorbed in prestigious
|
| |
organizations
like Glaxo, Ranbaxy, Cipla, Lupin, Dabur etc. |

M.Sc.
Environmental Sciences : On account of persistent efforts of
|

Prof. B.D. Joshi
M.Sc. Environmental Science classes were started in |
| |
1995. There are
6 papers each in M.Sc. I and M.Sc. II with project |
| |
work. |

Ph.D. Work |
| |
|
|
Ph.D. Work in
Zoology : So far 12 students have been awarded Ph.D. |
| |
degree and at
present seven students are doing research work in |
| |
various
disciplines of Zoology, including Environmental Sciences. Some
|
| |
of them are
getting fellowships from the project sanctioned to our |
| |
faculty members. |

Ph.D. Work in
Environmental Sciences : At present about 25 students |

are doing
research leading to Ph.D. degree in Environmental Sciences. |
