Faculty of Engineering & Technology has been established with the objective to meet the growing demand of technically trained engineers with requisite knowledge of respective disciplines of engineering backed with a support of latest IT systems, general management and Indian mythological views which would enable an engineer to be a competent executive. With the aim to cater with the increasing demand of trained professionals, Gurukula Kangri Vishwavidyalaya, Hardwar decided to establish an engineering Faculty named Faculty of Engineering & Technology (FET).

The campus of the FET is constructed at a distance about 6 km. from main campus on NH 58 from Hardwar to Delhi. The new campus of FET is growing at a fast speed. The whole of the campus is meticulously planned and designed to cater engineering professionals. The infrastructure and the academicians are fulfilling the needs of education as well as extra curricular activities.

The Faculty became functional with the introduction of B.Tech. Course in Computer Science & Engineering in year 2000, with intake of 40.In 2001 it was increased to 60.

In second year of its journey a new discipline of Electronics & Communication Engineering was added and intake in Computer Science & Engineering was also increased.

Iin 2002, Electrical Engineering was also started with a sanctioned intake of 60.

Recently in May 2005,UGC & AICTE expert's team visited FET and expressed satisfaction on the progress.
