In modern time, sports has become an important tool to attain mental and physical fitness. Faculty of engineering and technology also provides various sports facility like Hockey, Cricket, Basketball, Badminton, Table Tennis etc. An inter college tournament of cricket was organized in Oct 2002-03. In this all the branches of engineering participated. It was held in three phases, quarter final, semi final, final. Final was played between II year & III year and II year emerged the winner of this tournament.

Faculty of engineering and technology organizes seminars, software development and other extra curricular activities from time to time for the all round enhancement of the students. These events are conducted by the students under the guidance of teachers. SDC-2003, a software development contest was organized in NOV 2003 in which the student from different branches participated. The best three software were awarded judged by Dr(Mrs) Kumkum Garg, (Prof. in department of Electronics & computer, IIT Roorkee) & Mr. Vivak Gupta (Lecturer in MCA department ,GKU) The first prize was given to LIBLAST Xp (Library Software in JAVA) built by the fourth year students, Abinav Gupta, Akshya Sharma, Aradhya, Gaurav Jain & Gaurav Narag was adjudged the no.1 software. The second prize went to PCMAN(A game in C++) built by Abhinav Gupta of IV year. The third prize was won by Gagandeep Sachdeva & Pranav Goel of IV year for their Dynamic College Website.
